Puzzle Plumbers had a major problem with their website, in that it wasn’t showing up in the results at all for any of the keywords that they needed to rank for.

Today (around 4 months later) they rank on page 1 for just about all of their 24 keywords (this job is in its final stages).

The keywords that Puzzle Plumbers rank for are “emergency plumbers zzz”, “solar water zzz”, “central heating zzz” and “plumbers zzz” where zzz is one of the 6 towns that they cover, these being Watford, Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, & St Albans.

So for example the keywords are solar water Watford, solar water Luton, solar water Bedford, solar water Milton Keynes, solar water Hemel Hempstead, & solar water St Albans, and the same format for the other keywords.

The major problem with the Puzzle Plumbers website was its structure and on-site optimisation.

We overhauled the site, restructured it, optimised it, and removed a number of superfluous pages, and changed the meta tags so that they were all different and relevant to each topic.

We’ve then worked on the site each month and the results are as above – it’s gone from nowhere in the results to page 1 for most keywords in a very short amount of time.
